Tony Elumelu Foundation is Africa’s largest philanthropy that supports entrepreneurs from Africa. The foundation has started accepting applications for its 4th cycle of $100 million entrepreneurship development project. This is a long term investment that has changed the lives of men and women across the continent.
The foundation is positioning entrepreneurs in Africa as catalyst of change for economic and social development. The TEF Entrepreneurship Programme is designed to be a 10 year project with a fund of $100m commitment that will train and identify mentor, support 10,000 entrepreneurs with funds and has an initiative of changing the business world across Africa.
- The business have be located in Africa
- The business should be designed for profit
- The business should be 0-3 years old
- Applicants should be up to 18 years and a legal citizen or resident of any African country.
Training; There will be a twelve weeks intensive training online that will guide and mentor a business
Mentor- There is a world class mentor program that will help in transforming the business
Fund: The seed capital is $5,000 and there is an access to more funding
Network– The entrepreneur will have access to the foundation’s global contacts and other network of start-ups in Africa
