Scholarship Brief Description: This scholarship from the Flemish Ministry of Education gives outstanding students scholarships for their Master degrees in to outstanding students for Master programmes in Flanders and Brussels.
The scholarship is designed to promote and support Flanders and Brussels as one of the best places to study in Belgium.

The scholarship offers eligible degrees for masters students offered at participating Flemish Institutions except preparatory programmes; bridging programmes; or distance learning.

Scholarship Target: The Government of Flanders Master Mind Scholarships invites international students from all countries. However, some scholarships are reserved for students from the United States, Japan, Palestine and Mexico.
Scholarship value/duration:
The scholarship awards a maximum €8,000 every academic year to the international students. Though, the host university can request for a tuition fee of maximum €111.9 per year. This rate may increase slightly from year to year.
Students should be aware that the duration of mobility for this scholarship is an academic year of 60 ECTS and two academic years for a master programme of 120 ECTS.
Student’s Eligibility:
The students should apply for a Master programme at any of the institution in Landers that have been named above.
It is expected that the applicant have a high academic potential and/or performance. The scholarship requires the applicant to have a good knowledge of the English language and a Grade Point Average of 3.5 out of 4.0.
The applicant must be accepted by any of the mentioned institution before applying for the scholarship. This criterion is not ignored even if the host school decides to take a student after the selection of the Master Mind Scholarships programme.
Every student in any part of the world can apply for this scholarship. The student’s previous degree is not expected to be from Flanders.
Applicants who have already enrolled in any of the Flemish university should not apply.

You cannot apply directly to the school. Students should submit their application on the official websites of the host school in Flemish. The deadline for this scholarship is 30 April 2020. Though, students are advised to check their Flemish host institution on when the school is closing application.
