2018-2019 Fully Funded Canon Collins Trust Scholarships for Masters to study in UK

Application Deadline:  18th March 2018.

Canon Collins Trust is offering applicants scholarship to help them complete a masters program at some universities in the United Kingdom;

  • University of London, School of Oriental and African Studies.

Canon Collins Trust collaborates with School of Oriental and African Studies to co-sponsor one scholarship annually.

Eligibility

Applicants must possess the following:

  • Should be a normal resident in or  a national of  one of the following countries: Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, South Africa and Swaziland.
  • The applicant should hold (minimum second class, upper division or equivalent) or about to graduate in the year of application.
  • Should apply for a full-time one-year taught masters course in any subject.
  •  Should have at least 2 years work experience in a relevant field.

 

  • University of Sussex

Canon Collins Trust collaborates with the Mandela Scholarship Fund at the University of Sussex to co-fund two awards annually.

 

Applicants:

  • Should be a normal resident in or  a national of  one of the following countries: Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, South Africa and Swaziland.
  • The applicant should hold (minimum second class, upper division or equivalent) or about to graduate in the year of application.
  • Should apply for a full-time one-year taught masters course in any subject.
  •  Should have at least 2 years work experience in a relevant field.

University of Edinburgh, MSc in African Studies

This scholarship is co-funded by Canon Collins and the University of Edinburgh. The scholarship is only for people applying for   MSc in African Studies.

Applicants :

  • Should be a normal resident in or  a national of  one of the following countries: Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, South Africa and Swaziland.
  • The applicant should hold (minimum second class, upper division or equivalent) or about to graduate in the year of application.
  • Should apply for a full-time one-year taught masters course in any subject.
  •  Should have at least 2 years work experience in a relevant field.

 

Benefit

The scholarships cover full tuition fees, a monthly stipend, a return economy flight, a settling-in allowance and other support whilst in the UK.
